Integrate a Livecommunity into my website

I have access to the source code (HTML) of my website

Edit the files/templates/source code of the pages which should provide your Livecommunity, e.g. index.html: Embed the JavaScript/HTML snippet into the source code (at the end, e.g. right before </body>).
Upload the edited file(s) to your webspace or save the edited template(s). That's it!

I want to integrate a Livecommunity into my own WordPress blog

Note: Unfortunetely this does not work on blogs hosted on wordpress.com, except for the static badge.

Log in to your WordPress as administrator. Choose the theme-editor (by default it's "Presentation" -> "Theme Editor" with URL www.your-domain.com/wp-admin/theme-editor.php).
Open the "Footer" from the file list (by default it's on the right side), e.g. footer.php. Embed the JavaScript/HTML snippet into the source code (at the end, e.g. right before </body>).
Save the footer. That's it!
